Ep. 12 How my spirituality has changed over the years & where I stand now
Welcome back to the Hot Mess Medium Show! This is (part 1) of an episode many of my OG listeners have been waiting for. The one where I finally spill a droplet of tea about the evolution of my spirituality and where I stand now, spiritually.
Let this episode be an example of how spirituality is meant to shift and evolve and how your personal relationship with a Higher Power is a personal journey.
It's not a “one-size-fits-all”. Extremes are unhealthy (so I've learned from experience). No one knows the ultimate truth while existing as a human here on planet earth. Which is why it is so important to develop your own intuition! Which, I personally believe, is our own personal connection to the Creator.
I've prefaced sharing my experience in this episode but I want to share this also…
I am sharing my own personal experiences. I am not coming from a space of judgement or knowing it all (because I definitely don't know it all). Something traumatic happened that changed the trajectory of my life and business and although at the time, it was extremely challenging to face and navigate, today I am so eternally grateful to be where and who I am now.
In addition to letting go of certain practices and beliefs, I am ADDING new practices and beliefs as I continue to re-learn more about my Indigenous roots as a First Nation woman.
I know in my heart I will continue to change, grow and evolve spiritually because we are literally Spirit in a body and that is part of living this life.
I think it's a beautiful thing that we are all so different and we are all just figuring things out for the first time with wobbly legs, you know?
