When Jon Wilson published the first issue of WoodenBoat Magazine in 1974, the number of his employees, (him, his wife and their toddler son) outnumbered their subscribers, two. But thanks to some self-admitted naivete and a ton of perseverance, WoodenBoat can now be found on newsstands around the world.
