Being the week of THE WOMAN with International Women's Day and Mothers Day I am excited to dedicate this episode to all my ladies. But we can no longer speak about what it means to be a woman today without addressing the exploitation, objectifying and victim blaming that women endure every single day in todays society. Women have fought before me to give me the choices that I am grateful for everyday, and I pay that forward by speaking about and giving light to the injustices that women still endure today. This is not and never will be men vs. women. It is simply the people who believe women have the right to be as safe in society as men and the people who don't. I will be discussing my truth of being a woman. I cannot speak for all women and understanding the intersectionality of gender injustice is a vital part of understanding women's individual struggles. But I can stand with all women at this time and do my part by speaking my truth so we can all start to have real conversations.
