Sharing from Proverbs 18:20-21 Pastor Todd teaches us that the quality of our lives is strongly influenced by the words that come out of our mouths. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." For today's purposes we know from the scriptures that death means separation from God not physical death. And we know that life is what Jesus came to offer us. Abundant life more than we can ask or imagine and Eternal life.

When we say things we are either pushing God away or drawing Him toward us. The mouth is the revealer of the heart. If our words are evil and contrary to God then our heart is the source of that.

Our words can lead to blasphemy against the Holy Spirit.
