In this episode we chat with Nanami, a second year DPT student. Nanami shares how shadowing different professions in high school led her to physical therapy. She discusses cultural competency and she shares examples of her personal experiences with this. She talks about her extracurriculars that she is involved in during school which include working as a rehab aide, research, secretary of the pro bono clinic board, and a GA position. Nanami discusses how the pro bono clinic at her program is run. She shares her experience with research and how she got involved with it. Nanami wraps up the episode with the advice that she would give to current DPT students.
