LIV Golf is not about growing the game. It is not about those golfers doing best for their families. It is not about golf at all. It’s a PR crusade for a country looking to avert the eyes of the world from their home atrocities.

So this week’s episode IS NOT about LIV Golf. It’s about pure golf. You cannot get purer golf then that of the amateur game. This episode in fact should rightfully be laid out at the start of the calendar year! Note to self!

There is a superb Amateur event on this very weekend, the AIG Womens Amatuer Close is on in Grange Golf Club in Rathfarnham, Co. Dublin. See you there!

Meanwhile, this week’s episode will walk us through the major amateur championships in Ireland for both Women and Men. Those that have been played and won and the remaining championships for the year. With a bit of history and some serious name dropping of past champions along the way too!
