Natalie Hixson knows what it's like to lose her cool. When she first became a mom, destructive anger was her norm. I get that. I couldn’t believe how angry I felt as a young mom. I love the saying, “Marriage helps you realize how selfish you really are and motherhood makes you realize how angry you are.” It’s true. For many moms they are shocked at just how angry they get at their kids and it can be a shame-filled hidden secret. After all, who do you talk to about how you just yelled at your kids? Or how you gave them a bruise by squeezing their arm?
Natalie gets that, and after overcoming the anger she was experiencing in motherhood she has turned around to help other mothers that are in a similar place.
