At the end of Jesus' life, He was left alone. He was ignored and abandoned by God. 

He asked God to take this "cup" from Him, but it was not God's will.

He cried out to God with his final breaths, but He was not consoled.

And He did all of this voluntarily, so that our requests to God will always be heard, and our cries will never be ignored.
