This week on our movie talk episode we dive into the 2013 Steve McQueen film, "12 Years A Slave". It's a very heavy movie about a free black man in 1841 who was kidnapped and sold into slavery. There's a lot of strong subject matter in this movie so we decided to talk about it first then lift the mood later as we talk about the classic Adam Sandler movie, Happy Gilmore.
