Sometimes it takes a big change to shake our perspective. This week, our host Salim speaks to Hasnain about his personal struggles with death. He shares how his take on life completely shifted when faced with the death of his son, and later, that of his daughter. They discuss how grief is never predictable, and what we can be doing as a community to help those dealing with troubling times. Hasnain stresses the importance of family and connection, talks about how others can be supportive, and reflects on how his connection to God was an integral part of not only coping, but also letting go.
