If done correctly, and you actually have the right beliefs systems, and you believe that you are better at some thing than you actually are, it’s going to be a net positive in your life.

If you just believe that you’re an amazing salesman, and you’re actually not closing your deals and you’re blaming the world, you are not doing it properly.
You also need to have a believe that you are amazing at getting feedback and you are amazing at actually understanding how to perceive things. Additional to all of this, you should be excited and curious to find ways to continuously improve yourself. It’s the combination of all of these things that leads to success.
