With data generation being on the ever-constant increase, new solutions to protect it are needed to keep up with the challenge. In this week’s episode of Fed At the Edge, we sit down with a veteran in data protection, Aaron Lewis – Head of Public Sector Sales, Engineering for Rubrik.

He shares with listeners lessons learned from decades of his involvement in data protection. He focuses on three ideas that involve data:

Classification – Why is it so important to understand what you are protecting. Not all data is the same. Mapping – This once easy task has grown into a tangled and complicated web. Where are your vulnerabilities?

Recovery – Is your plan current? Has it been tested? Are you ready today for a potential attack tomorrow?

Mike Tyson famously said that everyone has a plan until they are hit in the face. However, Aaron points out that many federal leaders may not even have a plan and if they do, it’s been sitting on a shelf.

Tune in on your favorite Podcasting platform now to hear Aaron break it down, and help your organization come up with a ready-to-go disaster recovery plan.
