If you are a disc golf enthusiast, you might know a little about Project Bad Apple through their work to bring a course to Yoctangee Park in downtown Chillicothe. But behind the course is a passion for helping young people connect with nature and help them further navigate a complicated world. Two men who see the struggles day to day  are Deke Deacon (who works in the recovery field) and Micah Shanks (a police officer). Together, they started Project Bad Apple. Hear their inspiring story and the “why” behind how a disc gold course can be a gamechanger for Ross County.
