After a show one night, I shared my dream of becoming a film composer with the musicians I had just shared a stage with.  

I was expecting support and looking for connection, advice and guidance from these older, more experience musicians.

But their response was devastating, shocking and crippling.

They all just stood there laughing at me. 

I felt so small.  
So stupid.  
Humiliated and defeated. 

Has this kind of thing ever happened to you?  If so, have you ever spoken to anyone about it?  Or do you just keep it to yourself?

I kept it to myself for far too long so, here is my story!
