Comparison comes up in two major ways: comparison of other people and comparison of time. With social media today, it is easier than ever to see what is going on in other people’s lives and to judge ourselves against that. It is also really easy, especially with COVID, to slip into the time comparison trap; being nostalgic for past times or looking forward to a better scenario that we’ve built in our minds. In this episode, we’ll talk about how to get back into the present moment when we slip into these thoughts. We’ll also talk about how comparison comes up in education and learning!
