Do you take your coffee with local history? In this EP the length of your coffee break, George Sibley takes listeners down mountain town memory lane in 1973; George takes us to Tony's Tavern where the first round of hot shots were recruited from their bar stools. The Crested Butte Hot Shots were then formed and were tasked with fighting wildfires across the West until about 1978. Today, Hot Shot crews are highly specialized fire fighting personnel, but I don't think they have as much fun as the CB Hot Shots mustered during their rambunctious times on fire crew. Listen up!
