Nancy Miorelli and I buzzed around in the world of bugs today to talk about how major media platforms have vilified insects, her use of gamified education, and ways in which we can become better allies to our insect neighbors. Nancy is an entomologist and “..self proclaimed PR representative for insects” living in Ecuador. She offers guided ecological tours “..which focus on the interconnectedness of ecology (especially insects), geology, conservation, local culture, and ecotourism.”
