Happened In the 90's hosted by Steve and Matt picks a day, any day, and then goes back in time to that magical decade we all know and love the 90's, to revisit episodes of tv, movies that premiered, or cultural events that occured on that day in the 90's.
This week we cover April 1st:
Steve and Matt open by detailing their shared hatred of the Everet College/ICDC College commercial guy who used to shame people watching tv at 2am into thinking they weren't shit and needed an Associates Degree. S our D dude.
After that Steve vows to take a sip for every dead wrestler we mention in our first segment. (Bad Idea)
Segment 1
Show: Wrestlemania VI
Title: The Ultimate Showdown
Air Date: 04/01/1990
Story: Aside from its record-breaking attendance, the event is arguably best remembered for "The Ultimate Challenge"—the main event match which saw Hulk Hogan (WWF World Heavyweight Champion) vs. The Ultimate Warrior (WWF Intercontinental Heavyweight Champion), in which both championship titles were on the line. On February 3, 1990, a week after Hogan and Warrior crossed paths in the 1990 Royal Rumble match, Hogan put forth "The Ultimate Challenge" to Warrior, and had to know whether Hulkamania or the power of Warrior was the strongest force in the WWF. At WrestleMania VI, Warrior won his sole WWF World Heavyweight Championship.

Segment 2
Show: Martin
Title: Jerome's In The House
Air Date: 04/01/1993
Story: Pam accepts a date with Jerome. Steve and Matt somehow make it through this endurance test of a podcast in one piece. Steve may need a liver transplant but it's for the brand so it was all worth it.
