“The beautiful thing about network marketing is of course that you don't have to wait for the one to be done before you can do the other, you do them simultaneously. And so my journey really, I embraced the personal development part of the business. I knew that to lead others, I needed to lead myself first. And certainly for the first couple of years and continuously still it was really just about developing myself to lead others. And I think a lot of network marketers might get that wrong. They might think it's about the product or the service or the comp plan or whatever. But really it's about your own personal growth, your own commitment to becoming a better leader. And once you do that people start to follow you more. So I was really committed to that process.”
