She is the creator of the fitness and running blog Preppy Runner, which she started in 2009. After losing 50 pounds, she became addicted to fitness and running — and has now run 30+ half marathons and 7 marathons and loves coaching runners to learn about the life-changing powers of running. (She sort of likes running.) A mental health advocate, she also writes about her own struggles with depression, anxiety and grief after losing her mom.
