Every single marketer must know the difference between search marketing an interruption based marketing, especially on social media. 

Essentially, search based marketing stems from the search bar, as in hashtags or when you google something or search something on youtube. 

Interruption based marketing is when you get show an ad while watching a YouTube video, or an ad in your instagram/facebook feed, stories etc. 

To be a successful marketer in this new online era,  we need to continuously master these two weapons and beasts that sit within marketing. We need to understand how our customers are searching and what they're search for, then be there at the right time with the right offer that makes total 100% clear sense. 

At the end of the day, marketing is 99% of every business success. You can have the best idea in the world, the best product, the best service, but if no one sees, is it really the best? Is it really valuable?
