When you know you've grown and you're not who you used to be, but you're also wise enough to realize you haven't reached the new destination the Lord is taking you to...that's the messy middle. You're in motion, walking in faith, things don't make sense, and you realize you have so much more to learn. It can feel like you're still in the wilderness, or maybe you are, but you can see there is something in the near distance. Keep going! The messy middle is part of the refining process so lean in.
