Metallica released their latest album on April 14, 2023 and we decided to give you a review of the album. Writing for the album began in 2020 during the pandemic shutdown and recording began in March of 2021 and finished in November of last year. The album was announced shortly thereafter on the Howard Stern show and the single “Lux Aeterna” was released that day.

Joining us on the episode is Sklo who sat in recently when Chris Kaye was under the weather. So with that said, we’ve listened to all 12 songs and we’re going to give you what we honestly think of this release, warts and all on this special episode of Debating Metal – The 72 Seasons Review.
