Imogen Snell is an art director. She studied Fashion Communication and Promotion at Central Saint Martins. As well as assisting many fashion stylists for Vogue, Self Service, Dazed & Confused and i-D, Snell also collaborated with fellow student Zoe Vintilescu making films. Together they executed an entire experiential exhibition, Electric Ladyland, inspired by seventies decadence, bohemia and the roles of costume and sex in counterculture. Snell and Vintilescu worked together under the name Snell Vintilescu Studio, focusing mainly on moving image.
Since then, Snell founded ISSTUDIO, a creative and design practice, with Riccardo Castano. The studio works within music, art and fashion, turning brands and artistsβ messages into rich visual worlds and cohesive campaigns. ISSTUDIO has worked with Madonna, Sevdaliza, Ellie Goulding, Anna Calvi, HAIM, The xx, Griff, Oliver Malcolm, Joji and Wales Bonner.
