For much of my young adult life (I include my 30s!) I had little patience for several adulting categories (cleaning/responsible maintenance etc.). Yesterday I completed a task that I planned for weeks and I was successful and so happy! Let's say hello to the times when we have patience and those times when we don't. How might we give ourselves permission to explore and be curious about the steps towards creating or experiencing something instead of hastily doing it with no preparation (maybe not your style) or shutting down with overwhelm considering the 100 steps it takes to get there? What if this practice is key to gradually aligning our experiences with our deepest values? Bonus: if you always prepare well for everything, pick something with low risk/consequences and be hasty and messy with it!
