ABOUT CHRISTOPHER MOXLEY
Christopher “Chris” Moxley is a Charlotte native and graduate of UNC Charlotte where he received an Excellence in Leadership Award from the Black Alumni Chapter and was selected as a Distinguished Young Alumnus by the Belk College of Business.
Recently featured in Forbes Magazine and named as a 'Top 40 Under 40’ by the Charlotte Business Journal, Chris is a former Division 1 collegiate track and field athlete and career financial services and risk management professional turned full-time entrepreneur and Co-owner of the award-winning Charlotte-based lifestyle brand, 704 Shop. Through partnerships with several large-scale for-profit, non-profit
and government entities, including the Professional Golfer’s Association of America (PGA and Major League Soccer), 704 Shop continues to elevate and redefine what it means to support local.
Chris also has other ventures in the real estate investment and live entertainment industries. He serves as a member of several prominent non-profit boards, including the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance’s Executive Committee, the UNC Charlotte Foundation Board of Directors, and serves as Chairman of the
Board for the Charlotte Regional Business Alliance Foundation. Having started two needs-based scholarships at UNC Charlotte, Chris is passionate about
philanthropy and economic mobility.
