On July 2nd, 1776, Thomas Jefferson drafted the final version of the Declaration of Independence. What's interesting, is that the Declaration was not made public until July 4th, 1776, on what we now call Independence Day. Here's our question...what happened on July 3rd? Well, we've done some serious research and come up with what we believe to be the most historically accurate telling of July 3rd, 1776 in history.
