Episode Reviewed: "Second Contact"

Star Trek: Lower Decks is the new animated series from CBS by the creator Mike McMahan, a writer and producer for the wildly popular series Rick and Morty. Lower Decks follows in the same tried and true comedic-paced footsteps, but without the unique characters that make shows like Rick and Morty and Star Trek (colon: Any Generation) stand out.

The show follows Brad (Morty) and his professional/personal relationship with Tawny (Rick) as they navigate an other-worldly scenario (see: Rick and Morty: All Episodes)
