High end public speakers get paid $100k+/hour for their time. Why? Because people actually learn something from them. That compared to the education system where teachers read out of a textbook and teach from a powerpoint made 10 years ago making $40k/year. See the difference?

The education system is old, slow, and broken. This was a quote by John D. Rockefeller, the man who funded a lot of today's education system. No wonder why those thinkers are the ones that get paid now. The ones that actually teach and push against traditional ways of society.
