LCCC president Marcia Ballinger says the explosion in technology over the last decade has caused employers to start projecting what they will need not only now, but in five and 10 years to meet their workforce demands. Ballinger talked with The Landscape about how the college is partnering with employers to help shape the education programs that allow students to be ready to fill those jobs, and is working with employers to offer students jobs now that allow them to “learn while they earn.”
