Adopted into a religious but abusive family, Peggy was kicked out of their home at age thirteen. God protected her as she bounced from family to family. As a result, she carried a deep wound of rejection and brought tremendous struggles in her relationship with God. However, God gave her a deep desire to find her biological parents and a belief that she would ultimately find them. Peggy was tempted to give up. However, with the encouragement of her daughter and a close friend, she didn’t. Miraculously, God met the longing of her heart, and Peggy was able to build a loving relationship with her mother.
