To kick things off in Ep. 144 I discuss the impact of the new NIL ruling in the NCAA and share my thoughts on what kind of impact college athletes being able to profit off their name, image and likeness will have on collegiate sports as a whole and also athletes decisions to go pro early (3:07-21:26). I'm then joined by a guest who has had a major impact on the Duquesne football program in his short time being there, current QB for the Duquesne Dukes, Joe Mischler (21:37-43:27)! Joe and I get into what it was like playing the 2020-2021 season during the spring time, what his thoughts are on student-athletes being paid and what Duquesne has been doing to help their athletes with the NIL and so much more!
