Although Ontario’s Universal Basic Income pilot project was cut short, we still learned a great deal. We discuss the findings and how something like UBI needs to be implemented to ensure success. Nuanced points regarding how politicians can abuse UBI, avoiding disincentives and how we should pay for it come up.
