Kathy McDaniel was in a medically-induced coma in late 1999 when she found herself navigating through the afterlife -- seeing hell and heaven all within a short period of time. These near death experiences caused her to write her memoir, "Misfit in Hell to Heaven Expat." While she did not fully convince me that what she thought she was experiencing was truly an afterlife, we can only hope that Kathy is right when she says we will one day see our loved ones again.
