Grief can change how a holiday or special occasion feels. This is the first Mother's Day since dealing with infertility and finding out I can't have kids. I've been dreading it. But the first holidays after loss, whether it's a loved one or a future you envisioned, is always the hardest. Yet somehow we get through it. Because holidays are tough. Grief is tough.
