In our culture, it is very normal to put pressure on people from a young age to have a dream job/career/ambition- but we don’t ever go into depth about it. How long is the schooling for these dream jobs? How realistic is it that I will be employed afterwards? How much money will I have to pay to go to school? What is the interest rate on my student loan going to look like and how will that impact my bills and finances long term? What if I don’t have a calling? Does that make me unsuccessful?
