It's August! 6 months ago was February aka Black History Month. We should give more honor to those before us than that one month out of the year. That change starts now! To know where you're going, you have to know where you've been! I was a part of a project with a group of teenagers between the ages of 14-17. One of the questions I asked them was, "Can you tell me your definition of racism?" The response was surprising. It let me know we have to do a better job as adults to keep our youth informed. The youth need information on their past, present, and future. The Raven Republic Podcast's response on that is the Bi-annual Black History Month celebration. Cheers! 🎉🎉
