Ep. 15 God Hates Divorce

Malachi 1-4. There is a commander to  Gods army who leads with judgment when the people turn to evil. God hates injustice and the corruption of the good He has created. God is a love, and love is expressed by the obedience of his command, and the sharing of his desires. Thus, it is written, "'I hate divorce' says the LORD God of Israel, 'and I hate a mans covering himself with violence as well as his garment'". When marriage is a covering for the spouse, divorce is a violent removal to leave the other exposed. Divorce changes the protector to become the aggressor upon self, their spouse, and even God. There is no grace without the pouring out of judgement, and there is a price for the breaking of covenant that must be paid. In faith a husband is united to his spouse, how then, do we break faith? This episode explains the deeper implications when bonding and separating what God has united to be one. The concept of grace, not as unmerited favor but as favor gained by One who suffered judgement allotting us grace . What is the price of forgiveness, and who credits grace?
