This month, we are doing something a little different. Each week we will meet a woman who is facing a trial she cannot bear alone. We are going to find out how God meets here right in the middle of her mess and we are going to talk about the purpose behind her pain and how we, like her, can trust God’s plan even when we don’t understand it.

Today, we meet Hagar. A slave who became the surrogate mother of her master's heir and reaps the terrible consequences of a situation she had little control over.
