The Sloppy Joes set off from the nomadic tribes, on the run from the Undersun Military. As they have no real direction on where to go aside from just away. They set off to “cowboy around” in the desert on the surface, hoping to find Shelshy and escape with their lives. Auldrich catches feelings, and Archie is unimpressed by some squids.
