In this episode I'll touch on 3 goals: 1) fat loss 2) muscle gain 3) healthy life/maintenance and what workouts are best for each of those goals. Working out, training, exercising -whatever you call that time of your day that you work on your fitness and your lifestyle goals- is a stress on the body and ultimately our goal should be to take care of our overall health and manage our stress and stress responses. Working out in specific ways for specific goals is helpful when it comes to taking care of your central nervous system (stress response) and it can benefit your goal as well. Cardio, lifting, heavy lifting, light lifting...they all play a part in our overall fitness, lifestyle and longevity but which one you choose is going to be individual.
