Alys Murray is a screenwriter and novelist from New Orleans, Louisiana. After Hallmark Publishing released her debut novel, The Christmas Company, in 2018, she went on to publish several single titles with Entangled and The Wild Rose Press. Her Halloween romance, Love Spells for the End of the World, is widely considered a Halloween romance classic, and two books of her recent series with Bookouture—The Magnolia Sisters and Sweet Pea Summer—have reached Amazon's Top 100 Bestseller List. In 2019, Alys expanded her writing work to include screenplays, and her first film, Christmas in Louisiana, was one of Lifetime's highest-rated 2019 movies. She believes in telling romantic, hopeful, and heartwarming stories.
