On the return of WIlmsFront my featured interview is with Melbourne Freedom Activist Joel Gilmour who was at the Siege at the Shrine during September and notably livestreamed his own arrest at Northcote shopping centre.

Joel woke up to the reality of this never-ending pandemic in the second half of 2020 and started attending freedom rallies in 2021. The lockdowns have impacted the work and lives of his immediate family who are also supportive of his activism. Joel has received several fines for attending rallies during the lockdown periods including having Victoria Police directly visit him in his home. He believes that 2022 will bring more of the same and is predicting a lockdown in January. Joel has livestreamed and vlogged much for his activism on Facebook and YouTube on his Freedom for Victoria channels, which earned him the fake journalist slur from The Australian Newspaper.
