In this weeks episode, we do a deep dive into what the post pandemic yearning for mortgages and home improvement has looked like. If you consider what the average person pays to have a home (with a mortgage specifically), some people may end up paying more than 50% of their income for shelter… And this is only been a recent development.
This is super fascinating because so many industries in our current market are propped up on this pattern on the housing market continuing. If you think about how large the home services business is – i.e. $34 billion is how much money the Canadian government loses in cash jobs according to Amer and his mysterious source, there is an ***enormous*** amount of money in home services.
