Take yourself back to a time before match dot com and Christian Mingle and Farmers Only.  In the early to mid 1900's they didn't have that stuff, so they invented lonely hearts clubs.  For a quarter you could get a four page pamphlet with names, addresses and photos of eligible widows and widowers, write them a letter, they write back baddabing baddaboom.  The same type of people that would catfish and lie on today's internet also existed back then, and we talk about two of them in this episode.
