What is Range Of Motion? The distance a body part can move from a fixed point in one or more directions.
The question is: how much do you need, and how much do you have?
Having enough joint mobility determines how well or badly you move. And whether your body compensates or cheats to produce movement.
The goal is to have enough R.O.M. at the joints you need them, and the stability to control it.
