We wouldn't think twice to call Tin our DJ and sportscasting idol but we're hitting the brakes once we're in faith and Bible territory. We can see throughout the book that God abhors idols and worshiping them was basically an act of forsaking the one true God. Physical idols in the Old Testament make a transition to spiritual ones in the New Testament and then in the book of Revelation, there is mention of 'food sacrificed to idols' in Rv 2 and an 'image' that is worshiped in Rv 13 - what iz thiiiizzz 😱 Plus!
