Skylar Bayer holds a Ph.D. in Marine Biology from the University of Maine, and is currently a postdoctoral researcher who specializes in Marine Ecology and Reproductive Biology. She is also the co-host of the sometimes monthly podcast Strictly Fishwrap Science radio hour.
