Dr. Rashawn Ray is an Associate Professor of Sociology at the University of Maryland, College Park. His research addresses the mechanisms that manufacture and maintain racial and social inequality. He has published over 40 books, articles, chapters, and op-eds and has written for the New York Times and Huffington Post, NBC News and Public Radio International.
