Comforting the Disturbed, and Disturbing the Comfortable. Moses Love grew up following what lit him up, it led him down the rabbit hole. This week we welcome Moses from his father’s lake house in Wisconsin, where he’s been spending time since he was a kid. We talk about his clothing company from its beginnings to his commitment to sharing a message, from “for those who live by a code” to “missionaries of consciousness”, and the awareness of how what we wear can truly set the tone for an interaction. Moses tells us what has been experiencing during this time in his journey and awakening through presence in his own interactions and sending as much love out into the world as possible, bringing that energy into his relationships as a human, a son, and a missionary of consciousness. From our first meeting running into one another on a Memphis sidewalk in front of Delta Groove Yoga (@deltagrooveyoga), Moses and I knew we were ancient friends. Picking up where we left off, Moses’ stories are always textured and deep, yet vulnerable. We also discuss shame and sexuality in our culture, and how our childhood framework may need dismantling to truly listen to what we are craving. Moses finds the sacred all around us.
